This blog is fillied with creative inspiration, motivation and hopefully encouragement for you all! It's all about how I live my life so check it out! :DAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11256335310753207917noreply@blogger.comBlogger274125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8203460313188441568.post-37243460714443583892017-08-17T20:14:00.003+01:002017-08-17T20:14:53.338+01:00Huge Update! Very ImportantHey Everyone,

It has been a long time I know. Unforuntately there were many things that happened over the past few months that made it difficult for me to blog or update you all in anything I wanted. I managed to make a bit of time now to make some announcements, one of them being that I will be shutting down this blog.

Note: This is going to be the last post on this blog

So firstly, I had a personal family emergency that I affected my whole family, we were very busy and I did not have much time to myself because of it. Along with that my health wasn't so great either I've been getting massive flare ups that didn't help the situation.

As I already mentioned, the biggest announcement I have is that I will be shutting down this blog soon. Don't panic, I've already made another blog so I've just moved somewhere else, the link for it is here: https://taranabstar.blogspot.co.uk/

Also because of the move I have created a new Youtube account as well, so I will be closing down the other one. At one point I will re-upload my old videos that I made on there. At the moment the new Youtube is completely basic and no change has been made to it. However I hope to change it over as time goes by. If you would all like to subscribe here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCOIaPqBEYWhZnZlsB9dXYg

Now you must be wondering why the sudden move and change? Well it's because I actually created a whole new Google account for my blog, Youtube and email but it was too much to maintain with my other blogs being on another account. So I've decided to finally make that change and make it much easier on me by having everything all in one place (plus my other account is actually much older and I have sentimental values for it too).

I apologise if you all are not too happy about it. However I think it's a good thing because it's definitely a fresh start. So much to do and share with you all! As soon as I post this I will be going over to my other blog and start posting over there.

I haven't really decided when to shut down this blog but when I do I will let you all know (In the other blog).

Take care everyone and think positive
(Sunday 25th June 2017)

Eid Mubarak To You All!

I hope you all have a wonderful and beautiful Eid. Of course some celebrate the one day when in actual fact Eid if for 3 days. So celebrate and enjoy your Eid for the next 3 days!

I had a wonderful Eid, I went over to my cousin's house with my sister and my dad. They were having such a wonderful day and it was great, they had gifts, games and of course food. It was very festive and I enjoyed it a lot.

As you are aware from my previous blog, I have a bit of a cold and I still do, my broken voice is still going on even till the next day but I won't let that get me down.

I did get dressed up for Eid and enjoyed it a lot, I wore a purple colour long dress with minimal jewellery. I really liked it a lot and it complimented the weather as well. It was still hot even though it was cloudy.

The food was wonderful and I loved the meal that they prepared at home as well. It our traditional Eid food which I love so much and of coure it was fatty but it's not like I eat like this everyday so why not? Although that shouldn't be an excuse and everyone should always try and eat healthy, hence why I did have salad too with my food. It was really delicious!

Overall, it felt like a wonderful and festive day and I can't wait for the next Eid to come!

Anyways that's all for now I shall speak with you all soon (In Sha Allah)

I want to apologise for not getting back to you all sooner. I haven't been doing well for awhile, in fact I'm not doing well today either. But that's a story for another day.

So I wanted to let you know what's been happening in the last 9 days of Ramadan. Honestly it was nothing exciting, I was mostly doing the usual help prepping and things for food and resting for my health.

My sleep hasn't been good, I have not been able to sleep properly and it was affecting me pretty badly. One of the days I did not sleep the whole night and ended awake for a very long time. One of the days I had to miss Iftar because I wasn't doing well. So overall it wasn't something that I wanted to blog about because it didn't sound fair and exciting for you all to know about it.

Everything is fine when I managed to get my sleep proper but two days before Eid I ended up feeling ill. I ended up getting a broken voice and felt kind of tired. That's what happens when the weather is unpredictable.

Aside from all that, my last 9 days of Ramadan was pretty uneventful and a peaceful I would say.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
The less you think about food and occupy your mind with other things the easier and faster the day will go by.
The good deeds that you do for the day will increase your rewards and reduce your sins
Compliment someone and it will help make their day, being humble is also a good characteristic to have.
If you feel angry or you feel like your about to explode, leave the place you are in, e.g. if you're in the room then leave that room and count to 10 out loud (focus on the counting not what is making you angry), it will cool you down.
Always stay prepared for when you are ill, try and prep food for then too that way you don't have to feel too much of a burden feel like you need to do a lot.
Deligation is key for an individual, try to deligate more rather than think that you are on your own.
Plan and prep what needs to be made for Eid at least 3 days before so you won't feel like it's too much.
Putting henna on overnight and adding tea bag water in it will darken the colour and last longer
Change your environment. Make sure to always change your environment regularly that way you will not feel depresssed or sad easily instead you will refreshed.
Did You Know?
The old Qur'ans date all the way back to the 7th century are completed and intact till today and are displayed in museums in Turkey and other parts of the world.
If there were a time where all Qur'an in the world have been distroyed, the Arabic original would still remain. This is because there are millions of Muslims who have memorised the Qur'an letter by letter, they are known as Hafiz (guardians) and can easily recover the Qur'an again.
Sharia is the Islamic law set that regulate a daily life of a Muslim and provides a guide for living by Islamic priniciples. It is derived from Islam's canonical texts, the Qur'an and Hadith (sayings and actions of Muhammad). This is an effort for Muslims to understand God's instructions and apply them to daily life as they are made by humans, they are likely to include some mistakes.
It is believed by some that the spread of Islam was forced upon people by battles. Back in the day the Muslim empire initially spread, for the most part, through battles and conquests (common form for that time) but the religion itself was never forced. In fact non Muslims had the right to worship as they pleased, just as long as they paid the tax called "Jizyah."
Terrorism, unjustified violence and killing of non-fighting civilians (even intimidating, threating or injuring them) are all completely forbidden in Islam. Islam is about peace whether that person is a Muslim or not.
'Jihad' does not mean 'holy war' in actuality it means 'to sturggle' or 'to strive' this term can be used in many ways, even now, Jihad (struggle) of laziness, arrogance etc.
Women are not oppresssed in Islam. Any man who does this is not following Islam. One of the many teachings of Muhammad that protected the rights and dignity of women is his saying, '...the best
among you are those who treat their wives well.'
There are many rights granted to women in the home and in society. Some of these rights include: Earn money, financial support, own property, education, interitance, treated kindly, to vote, bridal gift, worship in a mosque, divorce and much, much more.
Muslims women wear the hijab (head scarf) in fulfillment of God's decree to dress modestly. Modestly dressing like this has been worn by religious women throughout time, for example, traditional catholic nun, Mother Teressa and Virgin Mary.
Please check out the website for the rest of the facts. They are so interesting and probably something that you may not know.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Those are the last of tips and facts for this month. I hope you all had a wonderful and fulfilled Ramadan. I know I enjoyed it and tried my best to do what I can. I can't believe Ramadan for this year is now over. Alhamdulilah be grateful for everything I sure am.

I hope everyone is doing well, I'm sure most people are feeling down, hurt, angry or upset because of the fire incident that took place. I just want to say I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope that you are all hanging in there. It is always rough to go through such a severe crisis, I hope that everything gets settled down soon and there is peace in this world again.

There is one thing that I am good at during the most scariest of times, it is to stay positive. You may think it's weak or lame or that it doesn't work but it's not true, positivity has so much power, you're mentally more able to come up with solutions in a calm manner if you think positively.

I know there are a lot of hardships in this world, people may even think that there is no one out there for them to rely on but that's not true. There is always someone around that you can confide in and find comfort, to be honest, it could even the person you least expect. So think of someone whom you wouldn't think would actually care and see how they behave around you, you may notice something that you never knew about them or even assumed about them.

There may even be times when you just want to be left alone. That's completely fine, just make sure you know how to control how alone you can be and how much you can't handle. Make yourself more open and understand others including yourself. Really take a moment and reflect on yourself.

People need people. We are humans, after all, we weren't created to be alone. There would always be someone in your corner, whether that is a friend, family member or spouse we all need someone. I hope that those who lost someone can understand that you are not alone and there are people willing and waiting to help you when you are ready.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Make your own personal dua (supplication) book, that you can understand, including the most important dua's one needs to know. That way you can turn to it when you need to.
Did You Know?
When the first time the Qur'an was written, in the Arabic text, there was not a single flaw nor contradiction and it has never been altered till this day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You know, a lot of people have many misunderstandings of the Qur'an because of the way it was written. The Qur'an speaks nothing but the truth, so since it has never been altered and because of this people end up building misunderstandings. However, there may be some things that would not make sense because of the time, however, this is where the Hadiths come into play. It is a breakdown of things that have been mentioned in the Qur'an for better understanding.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, I shall speak with you tomorrow, In Sha Allah.

I hope everyone is doing well. I feel like this Ramadan has been going so fast, it feels like I haven't accomplished anything throughout when in actualality I have. It's only natural to feel like that when you are not well but I'm actually kind of happy with my progress.

Today was quite a peaceful day for me, I woke up a little earlier than usual because for some reason I have an eye infection or something like that. Honestly, it's not really causing me any trouble at all, just a slight burn and really red. If it gets worse I'll definitely make sure to get it checked out.

In the evening I was little busy but aside from that, everything was fine. I have this feeling like I can do anything right now - the productive feeling. Even though I feel like this, I just don't know what I'm going to use it for. I do have a few things in mind so I'm just going to what happens.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Make a list of things to do and prioritise what needs to be done first throughout the list. That way you will be able to get the most important task out of the way.
Did You Know?
Muhammad was not the author of the Qur'an, Allah is the author. It was revealed to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel and was written in the physical form by his (Muhammad's) companions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hope you all had a wonderful day, I shall speak to you tomorrow (In Sha Allah)

Hope everyone had a wonderful day today, I had quite a good day. Nothing special happened but just as good still.

My medication made me quite sleepy yesterday so I fell asleep a lot earlier than I usually do. I ended waking up around 11am (I think) and then I went back to sleep again, only I didn't know that I would go into such a deep sleep. I woke up around 3pm. How crazy is that?

Even though my sleep schedule is quite messy I am trying my best to fix it as best as possible. It's one of the biggest struggle that I'm facing in life, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Oh and for Iftar today, my uncle actually brought some food for us to eat. It was really nice of him to do so and it was really good food too. 😋

Aside from this nothing special happened today.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Best ways to remember things would be to write them down, or even set reminders on your phone. So even if you forget you will be reminded of it.
Did You Know?
Muslims believe in the original Torah and Bible, however nowadays these are pretty much non-existent which is why they follow the teachings of the Qur'an as it has never been altered till present day.
Hope everyone is doing well today. Ramadan is still going by and I hope that it is having a positive influence on everyone. I hope that it is making you become better at what you do and hopefully build up your character in a positive and open minded sort of way.
You know I have my fair share of experience when it comes to pain, I have to deal with it on a daily basis. But, just when I thought that I know pain, I felt a fresh batch of it agaon. I'm talking about dentist. Now my threshold for pain is very strong, I can manage quite a lot of pain, even dentistry work. So when the doctor or the orthodontist say it's going to be a little painful, what they are preparing you for is the worst kind of pain.
Just like today, my orthodontist said that, and I automatically thought to myself that it's going to be a lot painful then I'm imagining so be prepared. My dentist told me that they will clean my mouth and that it's going to be a little painful, so I was expecting it to be really painful. Turns out it was painful, but not the excrusiating pain that I was thinking. Although, every now and then there would be quite the sharp pain but after that it would be fine.
Now, the reason why I am mentioning about pain and tolerance of it is simply because I want to show to those who cannot tolerate pain that in actuality you can. Most of it is your mindset, when the doctor constantly tells you that it's not going to be painful but it is, you will be prepared for the next time. You can tell yourself that it will be painful, but I can manage it, and even learn how to manage that pain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tip:

If you ever need to know something that you are unsure of doing a quick search online will give you a basic understanding of it. So even in Islam if you are not sure of something don't worry about it, you can always figure it out in more detail later on but for the time being just to satify that curiosity just do a quick search.

Did You Know?

Muslims, believe in onge God, Allah, and only see Muhammad and his prophet, not someone to worship through. He has sent guidance and teachings, that Allah has taught him, Muslims follow him to become a better Muslim and worship the prophet.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Many of you may think that this is so obvious, but this surprisingly quite the common misconception some perceive about Muslims. It is just a matter just learning and seeking that knowledge.
Hope you are all enjoying your day, I shall, In Sha Allah, speak to you tomorrow.
Another day went by so fast, I'm just thinking each day is different for everyone else. Your choices, mood, interactions and experiences are all different for everyone else. It's so fascinating to know that your one is unique to someone else. Even if it is just a thought.
Have you ever had one of those days where you just don't feel like yourself? I think today I'm feeling like that. Honestly, I just don't feel like doing anything, I feel so listless, so empty. Although I think the main reason why I'm feeling like that is probably because I'm pretty much sleep deprived.
I literally was awake the whole night and practically the whole day, I like slept around 3 pm in the afternoon and I only got 3 hours of sleep! So I think that's why I'm feeling pretty low about myself. It's so odd but it's normal.
I think that I mostly tell myself that I shouldn't feel anything negative and should be happy all the time, but in reality, there is no human on Earth like that. Everyone gets down, upset, hurt, angry (one of the worst emotions and very rarely do I feel this - thankfully) and so on. But that doesn't mean that I'm any less of an optimist, I just happen to not be having one of my best days. It's natural. I think I'm going to try and embrace myself as much as I can with these emotions, but not hole myself up in them and feel forever lost. You need to try and work through your emotions have control, understanding, and comfort in them even if they may not be what you think. Some can manage on their own, and well others need some support, it's completely fine either way.
Wow, I'm actually surprised I was able to be so positive about all this given the fact that I'm so sleep deprived. I guess being strong willed is a good thing. 😎
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tip:

Sticking reminders of what you need to be saying in supplication on a daily will help you to not forget them. Little, reminders are always a good thing.

Did You Know?

Muslims believe in all prophets that, from Adam to Jesus. They believe that they (these prophets) all brought the same message to the people at different times, which is to voluntarily surrender oneself to God's will. Muslims also believed that they were all Muslims (in a generic sense) as they all believed in surrendering oneself to God and followed his guidance.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Muslims are very peaceful in nature and they are about the gathering of people as one no matter what. It's really hard to forget this simple fact with the many rough incidences recently. But be faithful to your religion and do not waver and you will succeed (In Sha Allah).
I hope you all are having a wonderful time, I shall speak with you tomorrow In Sha Allah.
How is everyone doing today? I hope you all are doing well. I have been doing ok, not the best honestly. Hopefully, things will be looking up in the coming days.
So my health hasn't been the best these past few days, I think it's because of the weather as it keep changing from sunny to one minute to rainy, cold the next. So it's taking a huge impact on my health and worsening my condition. However, I feel like I'm slowly coming out of it and getting used to the constant weather change so hopefully it will be a lot better these next few days.
I honest haven't been up to anything yesterday or today because there was nothing that I could have done, so I think it was more of a relaxing day, and trying to not strain myself too much either. I hope tomorrow will be a better day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tip:

Taking naps really help to rejuvenate yourself for the day. You can actually get more done during the day too.

Keeping a diary (like a Ramadan Diary) helps to really keep track of what you've done during the day and what you haven't. This can be a public or personal diary.

Did You Know?

In Islam there are 99 names of Allah, these name help one to be able to become more closer with Allah.

Also in Islam, The Day of Judgment is known to the Muslims as when every human on Earth is resurrected and will be held accountable for every word uttered to even every deed they commit, whether it is good or bad in front their Lord.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Knowing the fact that everything you ever say or done will be judged by Allah the hereafter really places fear in an individual. It makes a Muslim truly be able to do righteous deeds and utter only good and positive things, that will help them in the hereafter. This is why you should always think about doing good and saying good things.
Anyways I hope everyone is enjoying their Ramadan I can't believe we are already halfway there! It's has gone so fast. In Sha Allah it will continue to be just as good and filled with hope and happiness.
I shall speak with you tomorrow In Sha Allah.
I want to apologise for not posting yesterday, I just couldn't do it. So I thought I'd do another combination. Hope you enjoy it.
Day 12
I went for another appointment, for my treatment. After returning I ended up feeling really tired and in a lot of pain, during the evening I went to my class, really forcefully, I was so close to cancelling as well but I decided not to.
I think I should have actually cancelled because when I came back home I was so tired and in so much pain. I ended up having my medication after Iftar and then going to sleep straight after. I thought about doing my diary post today but I thought there was no point in forcing myself and decided to leave it as is.
Day 13
I ended up in some next level deep sleep that I couldn't get out of for a while, and then my mum was knocking on my door telling to that my appointment is soon. I completely did not realise how late it was that I almost missed my appointment! I tried getting out of bed, and throughout the whole day I had a heavy head and I was not feeling well. Hence why I didn't get up to much either. I honestly was so close into not posting anything today but I thought, no, I already missed one day I don't want to miss another. So I really pushed myself to do the post today. I'm pretty I'm going to fall asleep straight after this though.
Oh, there was also the general election today, I almost forgot to mention about it. Yes I did vote and I went with my mum straight after my appointment. I just hope that the next PM will be someone realiable and more about what the people want and less about the politics. Of course I know this is wishful thinking since this is the all about politics and such but it would be nice if there was someone who could rise to the occasion and really look at what the people want. Well that's just my opinion anyway.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tip:

Trying to stay in the state of wudu can be hard for some, any easy way to try and do this is to think about it like this: Whenever you go to the bathroom you need to come out of it with wudu, whenever you need the toilet, you need wudu in addition to washing your hands.

When you buy dates, make sure to deseed them all so that when you need to eat them you don't have to worry about deseeding them and you will save a lot of time for yourself.

Did You Know?

The name 'Allah' means God, Muslim also believe that it is a personal name of God

It may be a misconception, but Allah is not considered the God of just Muslims. In fact in many other religions such as Christianity or Judaism also use the name 'Allah' to refer to God. Although their beliefs may differ, but there is one fact to consider and that that they all believe the God is the creater of the Universe and all living things, including people.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have I ever told you that I made it a habit of keeping wudu all the time? It's a good habit to keep, one of the reasons being that you are protected in the minor of sins and evil, just by doing this. I feel so uncomfortable when I don't have wudu.
Anyway, I hope you all are having a wonderful Ramdan so far I know I am (excluding my pain I really am enjoying Radaman) I shall hopefully speak with you tomorrow (In Sha Allah).
Take care and think positive
Day eleven of Ramadan, wow. I am so proud of everyone for coming this far, whether it was a struggle or it was quite easy so far it's fine. You are doing your best and that is what Allah would be most happy about (In Sha Allah).
Today my brother and I took Aston (my cat) to the vet. He has an injury on his face and it seems to be quite worse. We took him there today to find out how we can help speed up his healing process. We found that he had an infection, and the vetnarian provided some antibiotics to give to him throughout the week. Of course there is a lot of pus coming out and it's making the whole house smell but I feel like it's improving a lot, the doctor did say to give wiped his wound twice a day to help the healing process and this would help with the smell as well. He actually seems to be doing a lot better than the past few days, I had to give him a bath too because he was so scared he peed in the cage. But now he seems to be feeling a little better and refreshed as well which is good. 😊
I think today was very tiring for and it really took a lot out of my health to be honest, but I think that it's fine just as long as I take a break and rest up a lot more. I feel that would help me to be able to manage everything a lot better.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tip:

Always prep food for the next day a day early, it saves a lot of time during cooking and you can spend time doing other important things like reading the Qur'an.

Did You Know?

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. If one wanted to become a Muslim they must just have state a simple statement known as the shahadah, which is that you bear witness to the belief in one God and that Muhammad is a prophet of God.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a fact that I really love, it is so easy to become a Muslim and the great thing about it is that anyone can become a Muslim, whatever your race, age, gender etc.
Anyway I shall talk to you all tomorrow (In Sha Allah)
Take care and think positive
I apologise for not posting yesterday on time, I got a little sidetracked. So I have decided to combine yesterday and today together for your convenience. So you will also get double tips and facts too! 😃
Day 9:
I didn't really get up to much yesterday. I wasn't feeling too well to get up to anything to be honest. I was trying to distract myself by playing games (The Sims 2), I just needed something to get my mind off my pain so I try to do things here and there. By the time I looked at the time it was already so late and I thought that there would be no point in trying to post anything. Hence why I decided to post today.
Day 10:
Last night I couldn't sleep, and by the time I fell asleep was around 9:30 am. I woke up quite late today and most of my day went to sleep, even though I didn't get full sleep it was enough to make me tired to sleep sooner than later tonight.
Once I did wake up I ended watching tv, the news in particular. I already knew about the London attacks just after it happened and it made me feel so worried and concerned about those who were in the crossfire. Just like with the Manchester explosions, this is just another dreadful event.
Now I usually don't like talking about these sorts of things here because it's such a touchy subject for many people but I feel that it needs to be addressed a little here for those that might think that I don't care or that I'm offending someone.
Firstly, I want to express very strongly, as a Muslim, these acts of terror are NOT what Islam is about. We already know that Islam is a religion of peace, now what these people have done is not anywhere near being a Muslim. They have, in my opinion, lost their way and now believe that murder, threat, attacks etc are all for the sake of their religion. Any Muslim would agree that a murderer is known to be one of the biggest sins in Islam. So how can they say that they are doing for their religion? It's just not right.
Secondly, kindly understand that those who do this are not what we call a Muslim, and try not to associate that all Muslims are like this because that is wrong. If one person does an act of crime it does not mean to condemn the rest. It's like saying a white Christian man committed a crime of terror, now does that mean all white Christian men are like this? Absolutely not. It's the same for us Muslims.
Thirdly, I want to how deeply sadden I feel for the loss of many people. It's cruel and unfair, I hope that you receive the support you need. I am so sorry for your loss, whether it be a friend, family, or someone you never knew, you are all people and you shouldn't deserve something like this. Please constantly pray and stay safe as you will all be in my prayers. Seek help if you are feeling alone, scared, upset, hurt, in shock etc. It's nothing to be ashamed of and I hope that there is peace in this world.
These are just some of my thoughts on this topic, I feel that I don't want to say anymore because one way or another it will offend someone if you are that person I want to personally say that I'm sorry that was not my intention at all. I am just staying my opinion, it's not in any way trying to belittle or offend any of you at all. I am someone who cares deeply about people, whether you are a boy, girl, Muslim, non-Muslim, young or old, any race etc. I am not the judgmental type, I respect others opinion because I feel there is value in what everyone has to say.
Aside from this, I don't want everyone to feel sad reading this post so I wanted to say something lighter and nothing so serious. I have been thinking of doing some more crafty arty stuff, and share it with you all, of course, this will be taking place after Ramadan though. I don't want to overwhelm myself too much especially with my health not being so great recently. I have a few ideas as to what I want to do.
I will make an update post soon to talk more about upcoming activities and I will also be posting about what I've been doing in those past few months that I've been away, so please do look forward to that. 😆
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tip:

1) If you are looking for ways to spread positivity, try not to force it on someone, really try and understand them before portraying what you want them to know, feel or act.

2) If you are triyng to finish reading the Qur'an in this month a good way to go about it will be to try and read one para (chapter) after each salah. Of course you may want to try and read 2 para in one salah as some of the prayer are spaced with a lot of time allowing you to read more, of course you don't have to read for some of the others. So basically, 5 paras a day.

Did You Know?

Fact 1: There are six points of faith in Islam, these are the basic belief an individual must have in order to be considered a true Muslim. They are:
A) Belief in One God
B) Belief in the true prophest of God
C) Belief in the origional scriptures revealed to Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad
D) Belief in Angels
E) Belief in the Day of Judgement and the Hereafter
F) Belief in Destiny

Fact 2: Islam is a complete way of life that allows one to be guided in all aspects of life such as moral, spiritual, physical, intellectual, etc

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope you liked these tips and facts. I know I did, this just made me want to read more about religion to learn more about it.
Anyway I hope you all hada wonderful and peaceful day I shall speak with you tomorrow (In Sha Allah) and stay tuned for the other upcoming posts.
Can you believe one week has gone by of our Ramadan? To think that we probably have another 3 weeks to go, I'm pretty sure they are going to to go just as fast. I hope everyone is doing their best, keep working hard everyone! 😁
Today, nothing spectacular happened, just that for Iftar we ate some yummy food. During the day I mostly tried catching up with some of the Youtube vlogs that I have been lagging behind on. I know it's not really something spiritual but I wanted to do something different, to clear the mind. Doing anything for too long can really cause an unhealthy mental and physical state. Best to take breaks and not to overwork yourself in many aspects, I say many aspects because I know there are people out there who can't function without overworking themselves (I am one of them...although I am working really hard on that).
Now for all you foodies out there, today we ordered food in to change the pace from always home cooking. I think that it's a good thing too. We had Sheesh, a take out food that we eat often. We usually get the chips, chicken pieces and some rice. It's really good although there are times where it feels like they haven't been too good. The sauces are really nice too, they have the basic chilly sauce which is actually quite a nice spicy sauce that's not overly spicy and the garlic sauce which is also very nice too. The marinate on the chicken is good, there are two types that we get the non spicy and spicy. Very nice both ways although I feel like you would need some sort of sauce to have an extra flavour. It is defintely a filling meal for the average person I would say. Overall I would give this food a 8/10. 😋
Tip:
Try and have a balance between eating out and cooking at home that way you won't be bored and tired of the same routine and you would feel a lot more refreshed.
Did You Know?
In Islam, to be consired a true Muslim you must try your utmost effort to undertake the following five pillars of Islam:
* Declaration of faith in One God and that Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is a prophet of God (This is a compulsary belief one must have)
* To perform prayer five times a day (Also compulsary)
* Giving charity (Zakat) - this 2.5% of one's excdess wealth that is given to the needy once a year.
* Fasting in the Month of Ramadan (compulsary)
* Lastly, Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once (Hajj) - This is only compulsary if you are physically and finanially able.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Some people this may just be a reminder, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to refresh what you already know and that way things stay more solid and clear. For this fact fact definitely was a reminder that I was glad to hear. 😊

I hope you all had a wonderful day, I shall speak with you all tomorrow (In Sha Allah).

Hope you all are doing well. Can you believe another has gone by so fast? I mean it's already the 7th day. I can't believe it. There are many things one can do in a day. It's unbelievable.

Today was sort of unpredictable for me. I didn't expect to do what I did today. I actually made homemade cheese. Yup, that's right, you heard me correctly - Homemade cheese. Let me tell you a quick short story. My dad is sort of addicted to Youtube and he's been watching many things from cooking to making things to literally anything. One of the videos he watched showed how to make ghee (clarified butter) so from that process you can also make cheese. Then my dad started experimenting at home and low and behold we have me and him making homemade cheese in our kitchen. I was actually very impressed and can now officially say I know how to make homemade cheese. 😁

Other than this random event, my day was pretty normal nothing out of the ordinary happened. It was sort of peaceful and watching the heavy rain outside was actually soothing to me. It's just so calming.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Making new dishes everyday for Iftar can be tiring, instead make what you would usually make but add a new dish for the day. That way you can still experience something different with that traditional meal.
Did You Know?
Around the world there are about 1.5 to 1.8 billion people who consider themselves as Muslims, of course this will change.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wow, that's something very intruiging if you ask me. If you are ever in doubt about something search about it. There is bound to be someone out there that may know the answer.

Well anyway I hope you all had a wonderful day, I shall speak with you tomorrow (In Sha Allah)

Happy 1st of a new month! I hope that everyone is doing well, I hope you all achieved everything you wanted for the month of May whether it is small or big. I hope you have another great month! 😄

So today my pain levels were not so great, I felt like I did when I first got the pain. I took my medication hoping that it will help. It does a little bit but now I feel drowsy from the meds. I'm going to go to sleep early.

I've decided to let you when I fast rather than constantly saying I'm not fasting. That way when I am fasting I can discuss how my day is going in terms of fasting. However, on days that I'm not fasting it does not mean I will not talk about fasting and such.

I think today was a good day, our weather here has been very interesting, one minute we have thunderstorms and lightning the next minute it's sunny and hot. Today was hot I must admit, that was great for someone like me because my body responds well to it. I think if it was cold I will not be able to function at all today (Thank Allah for not going easy on me!)

Anyway, nothing else happened that was interesting as most of this day went on my health but I hope that tomorrow is a better day for (In Sha Allah).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Ramadan usually gives people an excuse to have fatty food, in fact it should be the oppostite. Try not to over eat during Iftar as when Sohoor comes by you will be able to eat a fuller meal (again don't just stuff yourself but near to being full).
Did You Know?
The word 'Muslim' means anyone or anything that surrenders itself to the true will of Allah. So things like the Trees, plants, animals etc. are all technically known to be 'Muslims' as they are surrendered themselves to what Allah created them for.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That's an amazing thing SubhanAllah. Can you imagine that everything created are technically 'Muslims'? That is amazing. Hence there is so much love and respect for these things in Islam. 😊

Well I shall speak with you all tomorrow (In Sha Allah) and I hope you all had a wonderful day.

Take care and think positive

Day five already, wow. That's just amazing. I feel like this Ramadan is going by so fast and it felt like we just started with day 1 yesterday. It's incredible. There is so much you can do in this month that it doesn't feel like we can get it all done.

My day went by interestingly, I went to my hospital appointment that I had today, as I've been doing these treatment sessions for a few weeks now. It's supposed to help ease the pain that I have, and though it helps out for a little bit my pain does return back to normal. Although I feel that I am getting good sleep though even though it's not for long hours. I've been in pain all day because of it but I know that in the long run it's going to help me, so I'm staying positive. 😄

Anyways, I wasn't able to get up to much because of the pain. Oh except that I was contacted by the person who runs that writing competition that I used to play: Cowrite.net. He told me that he's decided to run the programme again and I was incredibly happy and excited to start participating in them again. It's been such a long time and I remember how funny it was and entertaining and also you get to learn and meet different people too. I'm really looking forward to participating in the competition. I think you should all check it out for increasing your creative line.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Organisation is key in everything you do, plan out what you want to do for the day a day before to see what you can and cannot do. Of course try to be realistic (don't become like me making unrealistic goals...I'm working on it).
Did You Know?
The word Islam mean surrender or submission. The religious meaning of Islam is to surrender one's will in the true will of Allah in an effort to attain peace.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now that's something that I believe Islam really is, it's a statement of peace and surrendering oneself to achieve that peace. I think that is something everyone should try to achieve, even if you are not a Muslim it's the best way to keep this world in harmony.

Anyways, I shall speak with you all tomorrow (In Sha Allah) hope you all had a wonderful day.

I apologise for the delay for this post to come out. I was quite busy and just about managed to free some time to blog. I can't believe it is now the fourth day! So fast Alhamdulilah! I hope everyone had a wonderful and peaceful fast.

So my day started out by me falling asleep quite late. I fell asleep after praying around 6:45 am it was quite difficult for me to sleep but I managed to keep myself occupied. I didn't do much, I read a bit of the Qur'an which was good and then I was just reading a manga.

I woke up quite late in the afternoon, around 3:15 pm which I was not happy about but I knew it was going to be late because of my late sleep. Anyways when I woke up I was not feeling too great and my body was in a lot of pain, so unfortunately, I had to break my fast. It was not worth me jeopardising my health over it and given that it is not compulsary for me to fast I didn't want to push myself too much and cause more damage to my health.

Aside from that my day went mostly on resting. I apologise for it not being so interesting but I hope that you all had a better day then I did and if not it's nothing to feel bad about. Just stay positive and you'll be fine. You won't always have a good day and that's ok, it's part of life, it just depends on how you handle it. 😊

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
When you read the Qur'an, it is alway better to read it aloud since this will help you concentrate better and you will feel more alert.
Did You Know?
You can read the Qur'an on your phone even if you are not clean. This is because on the phone when you are viewing the letters they are in the forms of waves which can disappear, however it is completely different on the Mus'haf as the ayaat can be viewed. Of course it is better to still have wudu when you do read the Qur'an on your phone and this is something that Allah would be happy with. 😊
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That is a good fact to keep in mind, I feel for those who have health issues and can't stay in a position for too long (such as myself) this is a great benefit. Hence I did this in the night when I couldn't sleep.

Anyway I hope you all had a wonderful day, I shall speak with you all tomorrow (In Sha Allah).

Take care and think positive

Alhamdulilah 3rd day of Ramadan done. I wasn't able to fast today because I need to have my medication so I opted to not fast. I felt kind of bad for not fasting but it needed to be done though, although I am looking forward to fasting tomorrow though. 😀

Today I spent most of the day tidying my room since it was very messy of course. I think that's another reason as to why I didn't fast since I would be tired and exhausted. I'm happy that I didn't fast even though I felt regret but it was a good thing. I needed to do other things which meant that I didn't want to compromise my health.

Anyway, I think the weather today a lot of people may feel unhappy about since it was raining and given the fact that there was thunder and lightning last night it might not have been such a motivator to a lot of people to fast.

It's good to remember how blessed it is that we have rain, it's a blessing, some countries it's like a sauna and other places it's raining. I think you should remember the good things in life, such as what you can do when it rains. Where appropriate attire for the weather to help you to move around outside. Always look at the positives. This is why I would say I am one of those people who the weather doesn't affect my mood at all. There are always options. 😊

Anyway aside from the weather today's day went pretty fast I would say. I think it's because I was busy and keeping myself distracted. Although I am in a lot of pain currently, I just need to rest up for tomorrow.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
If you feel like your day is going kind of slow, read an Islamic book or even the Qur'an to take up that time. Really helps to understand your religion and feel a refreshed look on your beliefs too.
Did You Know?
Islam is one of the fastest growing religion in world. It's very common to see newcomers to the religion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This fact is something I'm so happy to hear about. I really feel happy knowing that this religion is growing and helping people around the world. 😊

Anyways, I shall speak with you all tomorrow (In Sha Allah)

Take care and think positive

Already day two of Ramadan. SubhanAllah what blessings we have. Fasting truly brings out the best in people. I believe this fully. I feel like there are a lot of misunderstandsings in the religion but really and truly if you read about it you will know more.

Today I was able to fast Alhamdulilah! 😄 I had a little difficulty but it was not enough to make me break my fast. I made sure to take lots of breaks, which helped me not to feel too overwhelmed. I was surprised at myself at the lack of control I had (during the non fasting days). When I was fasting I noticed that when I saw little snacks here and there I was really craving it. But it passed after a short moment of time. It just made me think that I wasn't strong enough but then I thought, I was only like this because of two reasons: 1) I was not used to fasting hence why I felt a little in front of snacks 2) When I wasn't fasting I needed to eat to look after my health.

One thing is for sure I felt a renewed appreciation of life and everything around us. I felt blessed and grateful for the things that I have and for the things that I used to have. You really feel like the little things that matters in life more.

Anyway, I helped as much as I could and also my siblings helped reorganise my room since it needed a makeover. I love how much space it has now and I felt it look more open and brighter too. Of course while they were busy doing that I was helping with my mum in the kitchen, with what I could. I really love it when everyone get together and are able to work together. 😌

So that was how my day went today. How did your day go? It doesn't even have to be those who are fasting, in general what did you get up to? Do you reflect on the day you had? What did you get up to?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
If you are someone who is not fasting, make some snacks e.g sandwhiches the day before, leave them in the fridge and then eat them during the day. Make sure to be subtle, if you are around someone who is fasting then obviously do not eat in front of them. Those who are not fasting should also behave as those who are. 😊
Did You Know?
The first word ever to be revealed in the Qur'an was 'read'. You can always gain so much knowledge, ignorance can be dangerous, being informed will help protect you in many ways. You can gain knowledge in anything by reading. Research and find out information, if you have a burning question that you want answer to research about it yourself, read about it then take opinions of others. You will expand your knowledge this way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

💜 Ramadan Kareem 💜

It is finally that blessed month that we know and love as Ramadan. We'll be delving into another special time. I hope that everyone is keeping themselves safe and happy. It's time to help renew your faith as a Muslim and become a stronger individual! I hope that everyone has a wonderful and incredible month and hopefully we can carry on this enthusiasm throughout our lives even after Ramadan comes to an end.

Alhamdulilah we are already done with our first Ramadan, it went by so fast and so peacefully. I have to admit I feel so blessed even more since Allah has given us an amazing weather to help us become more positive then before.

I unfortunately did not fast today because I felt that my health was not too good for me to fast. To those who don't know I have a health condition which has excused me from fast hence it is not Fard (compulsary) for me to fast. However despite this I still want to fast and I will be In Sha Allah tomorrow. 😊

It's always nice to have the family together and be able to connect and bond with each other a little more than usual. I feel that it was like that for me, and I hope that it continues too. I extra happy and proud of my father who fasted today! (He has a lot of health problems and thus he is also excused) I felt a little bad because I thought that I could be stronger in my will and I should have kept my fast, and I know it shouldn't matter because my health priority, but after seeing my dad be able to fast I found such a motivation to fast. Hence why I will be keeping my fast tomorrow! 😊

As for what else I did today, well I read the Qur'an and Alhamdulilah I am making progress in completing it. You will get plenty of rewards so why not read and try to complete it? Even if you don't complete it in the month of Ramadan you should still continue it afterwards, it's your intention that counts.

I also did some creative stuff like making cards (for Eid of course), so I felt that it was very productive. I feel like I haven't done anything creative in a long time so I feel like I am slowly becoming my creative self again. Anyway, let us move on to the tips and the did you part, just to remind you it may not always be related Ramadan.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tip:
Having watermelons for Sohoor will help keep you hydrated and will avoid making you feel thirsty during the day.
Did You Know?
Dates have multiple health benefits and are very good for you. Here is a list of some of their health benefits:
Constipation
Bone Health and Strength
Digestion
(And So Am I)Hey Everyone! :)
How are you all doing? I apologise for the long hiatus I have been quite busy. This post is just to update you guys on a few things.
Firstly, this post will not be getting into details as to what I've been doing during the past few months. (Hopefully there will be another post later in the future about this). This post is to update you that I am back and also I am going to be doing the Ramadan Diaries that I do every year (I know one of the years I didn't but it won't be like that this year).
I have been eagerly waiting to do this for awhile and I felt bad because I didn't do it. So now that Ramadan is upon us I wonder what sort of things will happen during this month. I'm so curious. To those who are new to my blog and would like to know what this Ramadan Diaries is about, it's basically me giving you a daily entry on my day during Ramadan. It may not specifically be related to Ramadan itself but it's basically what I get up to during this blessed month. These range from types of food served to how I am coping with fasting.
This year I'll be doing something a little different in addition to this. I've decided to include some sort of 'did you know?' factor in the post including about fasting or even Islam in general. I will also include some tips for those struggling with fasting and maintaining their fast too, as well as including things you should and shouldn't do in general as guiding in this religion.
I'm hoping this will help others with their own struggles and hopefully it will help you to understand Islam more better.
Secondly, I would like to mention that I am active again, but I don't want to promise regular posts (excluding Ramadan Diaries (RD) enteries). This is solely because I don't want to make a promise that I know I wouldn't be able to keep.
Aside from that I hope that you are all looking forward to the next month! :D I know I am. Also just letting you all know I will be making a new post with an update on the past few months so please be patient with that. :)
Anyways, I shall speak with you all soon,
Take care and think positive
Yes it's me it's been a while I know. Honestly saying I wanted to write several times but either it is out of my mind or I didn't feel like writing.
So what have I been up to? Well let me tell you - as short as possible. As always you can read the whole thing or the parts that you want to know. I will appreciate it a lot if you read the whole thing but I would understand if you don't.
There is a lot of things going on that I want to share with you all so let me start off by saying I'm really sorry for the late blog post. As you all know my health isn't so great, so trying to do any sort of activities is a lot for me to handle. For one thing it is not just my physical health that is being affected but a lot my mental state, I shall get to this a little later (Or just skip to that section it will be under title format) :)
Ramadan Diary
I want to apologise for not doing my Ramadan Diary this year, unfortunately it's not been the best with my health and because of it, it has affected my health in many ways, when it came to doing my Ramadan Diary, I have to admit at times I didn't feel like blogging, not just for my Ramadan Diary but even general blogging as I knew that I have to blog many things but I just don't feel like it sometimes. It's normal. It happens. It's fine. :)
However there were times when I wanted to blog but I couldn't because I was in a lot of pain and didn't feel well. I constantly felt tired and exhausted and being in paint 24/7 (literally) I wasn't able to do much. This also ties in to my mental state which at times I would forget about blogging about my Ramadan Diary and it was also affecting my mood too. This was the result of me not doing my Ramadan Diary so I want to sincerely apologise about it. I hope, In Sha Allah I would be able to next year though. :)
Health update
Since I'm already talking about my health let's get straight into this. As you are all aware my physical state requires me to take constant breaks and at times I am not able to to do anything. This is a very fluctuating type of illness that makes it difficult to be doing anything at all, it even affects planning events e.g. outings, shopping etc.
Aside from my physical side, my mental state has been affected a lot too. I have a time concentrating on anything, I am extremely forgetful that I may be reminded of it but still won't remember and occasionally I would.
It's not really something I appreciate much but it's part of my life and I am making slow and steady progress in controlling both my pain and my memory. However there are times where I ma slipped up and it has affect not just me but others like my family.
Anyway in terms of improvements there isn't much I can say unfortunately. But as always I am smiling and keeping things positive and I am always smiling. Smiling and staying positive is a powerful tool if can manage this is a negative atmosphere believe me life would be a great place. It will help you feel confident and uplifting too.
Overall my health is okay, I wish it was better but I just need to be praying and if Allah wills then it will happen. :)
Writing Update
If you are a follower of my Expressive writing blog, then you would have already realised by now the latest update if you haven't then please read the post by clicking on this link: http://express-writing.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/the-best-of-both-lives-chapter-3-who.html
Moving on from this, I am still doing my writing as I am very passionate about writing as well as many other hobbies that I have. However because of my health I am moving with my writing very slowly, even though I want to so desperately want to do more I really have to make sure that my health is doing better as I don't want it to get worse.
Like I mentioned already in my writing post I should hopefully be able to get out a chapter soon after typing it up and brushing it up as much as possible. Please be patient.
Gaming
As far as gaming is concerned I am not currently doing anything game-play based. I just want to take things slow and that means having to prioritise other things over this. However I am playing games on my phone: Currently playing Summoners War and Soul Seeker. They are both VERY fun and interactive game! I'm really enjoying it. Do check it out if you're interested in it.
What I am doing now
Well long term wise I am working on my health and to try and improve it as much as possible. I don't want to make it worse because then I would not be able to do many other things that I want to, So, aside for my health I'm also working on my writing (as you already know from the above) and I'm also working on my arts and craft including Youtube.
As much as I want to add a lot of content on my channel I really am limited because of my health, however I am doing art every now and then. If you would like to see what artworks I have been doing at the moment please check out my Instagram & Twitter (links above) and follow me to keep updated with my arts and craft and writing. :)
There is another thing that I am working on it is actually related to my next Youtube video, it's related to arts and I hope you all like it. I have mentioned it before in a blog very long time ago but didn't actually have the chance to carry it out. However now that I have the opportunity to do so I will hopefully be able to share it with you all. :)
On another note, there was another reason as to why I haven't been blogging and doing creative stuff as much as I want to. That is the lack of space in my house, because of the small space I wasn't able to do a lot of the things that I wanted to like painting, crafting, drawing etc. because there would not be enough space for me to do it. However now, I have a lot more space and I am able to do more crafty work!!! I am so excited about this that I have been waiting for years for this moment. Now I finally have the space to spread my creative wings a little more (not completely of course - health reasons,) and be able to be active once more.
From this I have some very good news! I am selling two of my paintings!!!! :D I am so happy to be able to do this, I have been waiting for a long time to be able to sell my creations and now I can. Below are pictures of the two paintings that I am selling one of them being the Youtube video that I created (the painting landscape). They are both dated and signed of course. If you are interested in purchasing any of these or both then please go ahead and buy them. I am selling them on eBay (Links under the paintings) however if you wish to make a personal purchase of these then please contact me by either commenting on the post or email me. I am really excited about this and I hope it goes well if it doesn't then I'm okay with that too. These paintings will make a lovely gift for anyone in their homes.
I will be making prints of my artwork but they will not be available right now but in the future.
Please note: I will be able to sell prints of these paintings even if they have been purchased.
If you comment or email me it will be based on the best price and first come first serve bases.
Hope everyone is doing well. So recently I've been collecting a lot arts and craft materials and thought that I share my little mini haul with you all! It's a mixture of things that I got yesterday and some things from months ago online.
Here's a list of things that you can find on my mini haul video:
1) Derwent 12 Coloursoft Pencils
I have had this for such a long time that I thought I might as well include it in my mini haul. Don't worry everyone, I have an idea of what I want to use them for. So excited! Always happy to receive comments with your ideas too.
3) A3 (UK measurements) Cutting Mat
I don't have a cutting mat and now I finally got one. I actually needed it (you'll find out later on in this post) so I desperately needed to buy one although I was contemplating on it for such a long time.
4) 504 self adhesive gems
Now this was a recent purchase, literally yesterday from Poundland (it's a one pound shop - sort of equivelent to Dollertree for Americans). I bought the one in just silver because it can be very generic, and then another in multicolour.
I saw them and I fell in love with it! I have a good idea with what I want to do with them and I hope you all like it too! Please do leave a suggestion in the comments with your ideas too!
5) Pattern Papers
When I saw this in Poundland (also a newly purched yesterday) I fell in LOVE with it! It's my first time owning patterned paper and I love it so much! I bought one that's generic and then I bought one that I thought was really pleasing to the eyes and another generic patterned mixed with some floral designs.
I am excited to use them! I would love to know what sort of things you would love to see me use them for. Really excited!! :D
6) Mini Glue Gun
Ok I bought this near the time I got the coloursoft pencils online. It was one of those long term thing that I thought I can't wait to use and buy.
I finally bought it and used it to creative this cat scratching post:
(If you go on my Instagram - @taranabstar you will see this image)
I was so happy with this and felt proud of myself for completing something like this. I was feeling motivated and inspired and I really feel like I can get a lot done.
7) Utility Knife and extra knife pack
I purchase this a while ago (after glue gun purchase) and I used it for the cat scratching post (see image above) and cut through some of my cardboard. This is when I realised that I needed a cutting mat ASAP and I couldn't wait it out any longer and made the purchase.
I also purchased a knife pack to go with it. So I would have back up just in case the knife is too blunt.
I haven't used my mat yet since then but I'm going to soon (hopefully!).
Here's the video of my mini haul:
If you haven't already noticed I uploaded the YouTube video for that mountain blog!! Yes you can go and check it out on my YouTube channel!
Please note that the video is in pictures however I am narrating through it so that you can all understand how to paint it. I apologise for not filming it. I would love to but I don't have a video camera and I use my phone but it doesn't have enough space. So I decided to just leave it as a picture video. I hope it's ok, one day I will buy a camera and make better videos! :) But for now it's good to start from the bottom and start with something simple as well.
Throughout the video I will be narrating through the pictures and explaining how to achieve what I have done in this video.
I'm really sorry for posting this so late after the video. I haven't been well. I hope that you will still enjoy this video. For those who wish to watch it here I will have it on here as well that way you can watch it here and don't have to go anywhere.
Please make sure to like, subscribe, comment and share this video if you enjoyed it and be on the lookout for more videos!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Hello Everyone!
As mentioned on my writing blog (for those of you who follow it) that I will
be posting here about my update for the new year. I know I have been MIA
(missing in Action) for so long and I have said it in my past blogs that I will
not be updating regularly. But it has been a long time I want to apologise for
that. I shall now breakdown this blog for you so you can understand and read
the sections that you want to.
Here's a list of what is included in this blog, you can read all of it or just the sections that you would like: :D
Update on my Health
Creative Creations
Update on my Health:
So since the winter arrived I have been really sensitive to the cold, I
guess that's what you get with Firbromyalgia. I won't go into too much detail
but everytime I want to do something e.g. update this blog or my others blogs,
I tend not to do it. I found out that it was because of my Fibromyalgia that
affects my nervous system that also has other affects such as not feeling
bothered to do things, forgetfulness, broken sleep, stiffness etc. I have been
really forgetful and lack of energy to do pretty much anything, hence the delay
in the posts and other social activity.
Currently I am reading this book that my big sister found in the library it
is called Living with Fibromyalgia by Christine Craggs-Hinton (New Edition). It
is actually thanks to this book that I've discovered about the lack of
activeness in me as well as how the Firbromyalgia actually affects the nerves
as well as the memory. I've been able to relate this a lot since it is a
condition that I have, I haven't gotten too far with the book since I haven't
been reading much (hence again the lack of doing what I say I would) however
from the parts that I have read already I am understanding my condition much
better.
I wasn't ready to actually delve into the details of my condition at first,
because I know me, I would end up thinking I have some of the symptom's that I
actually didn't have to begin with. However, I'm slowly cracking at that shell
so not to make my brain think that I have a certain symptom if I don't, and it's
working out great. The symptoms that I do have I can relate to it, and my brain
isn't making it seem like I have every single one the symptoms.
The symptoms for Fibromyalgia is different for every individual hence why my
brain can't make it seem like I have every single symptoms as another person.
However there would be obvious common symptoms such as pain (may not be in the
same place as others), tiredness, mobility etc.
Anyway, I am going to see a specialist who deal with memory in particular,
because I am very concerned with it. Recently (for about 2-3months or more), I
have been having short term memory loss and need a constant reminder of things,
or ever not remembering it at all. So hopefully I will be able to get things
sorted out.
My illness has affected me in so many ways hence why I haven't been able to
do what I wanted to, such as arts and craft, writing, meeting with friends,
just general life stuff. Hence why I think after I finished reading that book I
know it will show me many ways of dealing with the pain and different
techniques to help me.
Creative Creation:
I have been doing a few creative works here and there. One good news is that
I was featured twice in a magazine!! The name of the magazine is called Void
Magazine. Unfortunately, the magazine would not be continuing anymore. If you
would like more information on why please read this post here by the director who owns
that magazine. He was also the one who contacted me about it so I am pretty
interested in it.
Below are my two featured issue:
Issue 1: 12/10/2015
Issue 2: 27/11/2015
As mentioned above, because there were complications the magazine had to close down, please make sure to leave a comment over there to show your support and understanding. However, the good news is that there is still a possibility that it may re-open or even one day become ever better. Also I open to contribute to other magazines as well, hopefully it will be possible in the future for me.
Don't worry I have a Youtube video that I would like to upload, hopefully I will be able to soon. Also I haven't forgotten about the mountain landscape that I posted on the Instagram (@TaranaBStar) some time ago now I will be hopefully doing a blog post on here about it, as at the time I wasn't able to film so there is no video clip.
I forgot to mention that I am also a part of the creative collaboration on Facebook (FB) and we come up with different # events to make it more interesting and lots of fun! Please do check out other arts and craft Youtube channel as they will be having a lot of hashtag event.
More artsy things should be coming as well, just need to get back to usual myself slowly please be patient.
Writing and Writing Blog Stuff:
Although I already posted a New Year post over at Expressive Writing, and I mentioned about the magazine there because I entered a short story however it may have been featured in the 3rd issue, but it was not meant to be unfortunately.
Aside from that, I am still working on my Two Of a Kind story as well as my co-writing update, please read the full post here. I haven't mentioned it on my writing blog but I am putting a hold on the other stories (the co-writing ones) as I shall be continuing them on my own (I have the permission of the co-writers and notified those who haven't got back to me) so I want to make them worthwhile in the future and also because I don't want to take on too much.
General Life:
In general I feel like I have been wasting my time, even though most people would tell me that I'm not. But I think I am be I feel like I have not been able to do many of the things that I wished to. However, I have understood that Allah has planned it in a way that when he feels I am ready I will be able to do the things I want to in time.
I am always thinking positively and staying as optimistic as I can, I have been on a couple of outings to my friends place which was nice. I was able to spend some time with my friends which I haven't in a while.
It was fun, we talked, watched movies, even cooked and ate jacket potatoes (so good!). It was a ton of fun. I ended up with nice gifts as well, lush, manicure set and lots of chocolate! I enjoyed it a lot, we even had a little crafty session as well, we all took our time and did different things, my friend say and coloured and I was practising my sketching as much as possible. Next time we meet it would be at my place hopefully!
As of now I have nothing much else to say, I am happy and I feel this year would be an even better year than the last. I feel like I will be getting better and I will be able to balance things out in my life again. Hopefully everything works out great.
Until next stay tuned and also keep an eye out for my Youtube upload as well as my blogs, please bare in mind that it will be awhile since I will be taking things at a slow pace but nonetheless it will be happening.
Take Care and think positive
